Core Values (8 Highly Valued Areas of Ministry)
Passionate Prayer
Prayer in the life of the believer needs to hold major priority and become an inspiring experience for
every believer.
Loving Relationships
We intend for love, laughter and Biblical hospitality to be a purposeful characteristic of our relationships
with one another. God loves people too much not to accept them where they are, but He also loves
them too much to leave them there.
Adaptable Functional Structures
We want to incorporate simple, stream-lined organizational structures that facilitate ministry and not an
institution.
Need-Oriented Evangelism
Reaching lost people will always be central to the mission of Faith Community Church, and we will do this by means of finding
needs of lost people and reaching them. We will strive to reach the lost at any cost.
Time-Honored Small Groups
We place high priority on the New Testament model of meeting throughout the week in homes for the
purpose of discipleship. Life changing transformation happens best in relational ministries.
Inspiring Worship
We believe a worship experience needs to leave the believer inspired and refreshed by being in the
presence of Almighty God.
New Testament Empowered Leadership
We affirm leaders by following the Ephesians 4 modeling of empowering and affirming prepared
leaders to lead in ministry.
Gift-Oriented Ministry
We believe all Christians are ministers and should serve in a manner consistent with their spiritual
gifts.
