Here are a few frequently asked questions about our church. These answers might provide some insight
for you before you attend for the first time.
We don't have a dress code. Our service is very casual. Even the pastor is rarely ever seen in a one of those choking "tie-things". You are welcome to attend FCC in whatever attire is most comfortable to you.
Absolutely not! We promise to never single you out or put you on the spot. We do like to collect some basic information from people by means of a Friendship Register but if you'd prefer not to give it that's alright with us.
No, we'll accept you right where you are at. We love non-believing people at FCC. In fact, we call non-Christians, "normal people," because we believe it is normal to live outside of Christianity. However, we will unapologetically teach the truths of Christianity from the Bible.
We care about you. We realize that money is one of the most criticized areas within the church. With that in mind, we've decided to keep money as a low profile part of our ministry. We tell our guests that they don't need to feel under any obligation to give. We are just glad that they decided to spend the morning with us.
Faith Community Church is a group of people from all walks of life who seek to live out their faith in practical ways. We are a distinctively Christian church that desires to remove all the 'trappings' of religion. Our goal is to learn, live and enjoy the timeless truths found in the Bible.

The worship service begins when the band members pick up their guitars and drum sticks... Our worship sound is 'mostly contemporary,' followed by a practical message taught straight out of the Bible. The service usually lasts an hour and fifteen minutes. The dress is very casual (jeans, shorts, flip-flops, whatever).
We meet every Sunday at Mountain View Elementary School located on Harrisonburg's West Side at the corner of Rt. 33 West and Erickson Avenue. (See Map) Service begins at 10:00AM.
Children's Ministries (Noah's Ark and Promiseland) are provided for kids ages birth - 5th grade during the worship service.
We strive to develop authentic relationships. That's the way we're made. Not to be isolated. Not to be alone. But to be together-experiencing life with others. Belonging means having a place that's worse off when we're not there and better off when we are. At Faith Community Church we're building a community that's got a place for you.
