Thank you note from Missionaries Paul and Janet West!

Dear Keith and friends at Faith Community Church,
We received your gift in our account this week. Thanks so much! We are so thrilled that you folks want to help us reach everyone, so people get at least one chance to hear stories about Jesus and how much He loves them! You are helping to make that possible! - Paul and Janet West

Missions Budget!

FCC gives away 15% of every dollar given to our budget to world missions. Some of that money stays stateside, but a larger portion goes to serve in missions abroad. Please see the included Missions Budget to see the various ways in which that money is spent. Thanks for your role in making us a church that has a very global mindset.

7th Annual Campout!

Our 7th Campout will again be at the KOA Campground at the Mauzy Exit off I 81. For you who are new to FCC, this is a campout weekend to have an opportunity to hang-out with many others from FCC. It is a very relaxed weekend, and we will have a section of the campground this year all to ourselves. There is a pool, shelter, playground, etc. Plan now to attend that weekend, as our worship that weekend will be at the campground as well. As a part of the worship that morning, we will hold our annual baptism service. Amanda Nott will be the point person in the administration part of the weekend, so any additional questions can be sent her direction. Thanks Amanda for taking this on!!!

Easter Egg Hunt Draws Hundreds of Kids!

We were blown away by the number of children and parents who responded to our Easter Egg Hunt. 210 children and 150 adults!!! Wow! What a marvelous response. Thanks to all who gave leadership, service, and eggs, eggs, and more eggs!

25 New Members of FCC!

In the month of March, we had a total of 25 adults become members of FCC. We have never had that large of a group before, and we rejoice for the excitement that this generates. Welcome all of you!

Attendance Register!

Please realize the importance of filling out the Friendship Register every Sunday. We know it can seem a little redundant to have to fill it out week in and week out. However, when you do that, you model something very significant for our new people, especially our first time guests. What can happen if you only fill out your name and omit your address and phone number? A first time guest might do the very same thing, and we miss out on a potential contact. Also, please, please, please, if you see a visitor, make sure they fill out the friendship register! Thanks for helping us out in these ways!!!

Next Communion is Sunday, May 4th!

Thank You Note from the Millers!

Dear Keith and Faith Community Church Members,
Our family truly appreciated your kind gesture of a cash gift after the April 16 events occurred at Virginia Tech last year. Our lives were spinning in the months after the tragedy, and we appreciated the extra funds to go make a quick purchase or pay a bill that we hadn't expected. Of course, we were grateful for your prayers too. They were crucial to our recovery and were a blessing from our strong and faithful community. We ask that you continue to keep everyone in your thoughts as we approach the emotional 1-year anniversary. Heidi is enjoying her sophomore year at Virginia Tech. She has a vigorous academic schedule, works part time in Dining Services on campus, and volunteers weekly at an elementary school. This summer, she will study in Greece and Germany.
Thanks again - The Millers
